Office Administrative Assistant

Job description: The Office Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact between patients and our office. The job requires a dedicated, enthusiastic employee who enjoys problem solving and helping others. As a patient, managing in today’s medical world is difficult. You can be the compassionate and guiding hand to help navigate the process, therefore making the patient experience a truly positive one.

Job duties include:

  • answering multiple phone lines, scanning, filing, faxing
  • checking patients in and out
  • verifying insurance benefits
  • requesting and tracking physician orders and medical records
  • obtaining pre-authorizations
  • collecting and posting patient payments
  • verify patient product inventory
  • manage patient scheduling
  • maintaining patient EMR
