Job description: fabricate, assemble, repair and maintain custom made prosthetic and orthotic devices. Participate in research and development of systems, processes and devices to improve the fit, function and longevity of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Dispense prescribed off the shelf orthopedic devices, assist practitioners with patient care needs, provide education on use and care of orthopedic devices.
Job qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates for the position will have good hand skills and experience working with machinery and various hand tools. Must work well with others and be a team player, be able to maintain a clean work space, Must be able to lift 50lbs. Job duties include but are not limited to: use of resins, thermoplastics, sheet materials and adhesives.
Hours are M-F 8:30-5:00pm
